Graduate High School for Free Online

A Chat with a Career Online High School Graduate

The Pratt Library was able to chat with graduate Lacrisha Pullen about her experience with the Career Online High School. Read along to find out more!

What was the process of going to school online like?  How did you balance school and life?

Going to school online was convenient for my lifestyle. It was a little frustrating at times because I am a mom of young children but it helped a lot.

How do you hope receiving your diploma will impact your life? What’s next for you?

Now that I have my diploma I can move around a little more with work and school. I do have hopes in attending college and building a foundation for my family.

What advice would you have for someone considering the program?

GO FOR IT! please! do not let the doubt over take you. The online school is legit and I have successfully applied for my FASA and am awaiting for a response. It took me a year and at times I just wanted to quit and go with what I know but give it a try. Get it out of the way!!!

More about the Career Online High School

This self-paced, flexible program is designed for adults 19 years of age and older to continue their academic career by earning their accredited high school diploma (not GED) and a career certificate in 6 -18 months. Students who meet the enrollment criteria will receive a scholarship to cover the cost of the program. If selected for the program, students can expect to dedicate 8-10 hours per week to their coursework.
